About this service
A fence fails at the posts, almost without exception. The panels weather and can be swapped in an afternoon; a post that has rotted at ground level or worked loose in soft ground takes the whole run with it. So that is where the work goes.
We set posts in concrete to a depth matched to the fence height, and use gravel boards so that no panel is in contact with wet ground. On exposed or windy boundaries we will talk to you about post spacing and whether a slatted or hit-and-miss design would ride the wind better than solid panels, which act like sails.
We fit close-board, panel, slatted and picket fencing, and will tell you honestly where a cheaper specification is fine and where it is a false economy. We will also check the boundary line with you before anything goes in — a fence in the wrong place is an expensive conversation with a neighbour.

Panel & Gate Installation
Once the foundation is set, we install your chosen panels or individual slats section-by-section, ensuring the entire run is level and seamless.
Reinforcement & Cleanup
We add the finishing touches, like post caps and gravel boards, then clear all debris from your site to leave your new garden looking spotless.
